By that I mean is there a quick way to navigate to the sleep settings on
the Squeezebox Radio?
As it is it takes quite a few button presses to get there and since the
whole point is that one may well be somewhat sleepy at the time this can
be a bit counterproductive.
Ideally I'd like to make one of the shortcut buttons go straight to the
sleep settings but it seems that they can only shortcut to a stream.

Thank you, that would definitely make it easier at least.

You can also do what I did: assign the volume button press to be the sleep function instead of the mute function. So one press is to sleep at end of track, 2 presses sleep at 15 minutes, etc. I don't remember how I did it, but you can search the forum for the steps...that's how I got the information.

It may have been this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showth...leep-function/
Other possibilities (also mentioned in that thread) are the KidsPlay plugin (if you're running LMS locally) or buying the optional infrared remote, which has a sleep button.

That sounds like the neatest idea to me, thank you.

I assume you don't have the little remote that comes with the battery set. http://www.logitech.com/en-us/speake...accessory-pack If you look at the picture, you will see a sleep button right in the middle of the top row (little eyelash icon). Makes sleep so easy. You can set it in the pitch dark without even looking. I love it. When I bought the battery, I though that the remote was something I would never use. Turns out I use it more than the battery.
