I recently had to replace a router used as wired access point. I am connecting the Duet (purchased in 2008) via wireless to a wired network access point. I have been using Netgear WNDR3700 for the main router and an older model Netgear router for the access point.
I have successfully made replacement of the access point, now using a WNDR3700 for main router and WNDR3700 for wired access point. Both routers operate with firmware V1.07.98NA (latest); security is WPA2-PSK (AES).
But I am unable to connect to my music library (located on desktop PC). All Duet software is up-to-date.
The Duet receiver has white color on front. I have re-booted several times with no improvement.
On the remote (version 7.7.2 r9663), it shows my current player is Squeezebox. Checking server, I am able to ping OK and the two TCP ports are OK. But, mysqueezebox.com registration is not registered and Logitech Media Server is not connected. I have also taken battery out and re-booted with no improvement.
On Media Service (7.7.2 r33893), all appears OK, except the total players recognized is 0.
My first thought was that Windows Firewall is a problem. I turned of the firewall, and tried again, but no go.
I checked “attached devices” on the main router and can see (by MAC address) that the Squeezebox Controller is attached. However, I do not see the Squeezebox receiver.
So I think (not sure) that I have connection problem with receiver connecting to the network.
I would really appreciate any inputs or suggestions.

Have you tried a factory reset on both the receiver and controller then setup from scratch;
On receiver press and hold front button until fast red blink, then release. It should fall back to slow blinking red.
On controller go to Settings - Advanced - Restore Factory Settings.
Now you should be able to set up from scratch. On the controller select language - find networks (you'll need to enter your key to connect) - find player (you should see your receiver by MAC address). When you select your player you should see the front blinking slow red go to yellow then green then blue and finally dim white.
You should now be done and able to use it again.2 Duets - 1 for upstairs and 1 for downstairs

In my senior years, I do forget.
I reset the receiver and all is well.
