pls help me diagnose a strange issue

Almost every morning when I am listening to BBC radio through the installed app at almost 7 am precisely my boom will start to rebuffer, sometimes it will recover after a minute or so, other times I will need to press play again to get it playing.

how can I start to track down the issue, are there logs that I can check etc?

    Thanks.

You had established that it is with BBC ? What happens when listening to something else ?

Assuming it is related to a sudden load of user connecting to BBC (e.g. alarms going off) then you should increase the radio station buffer time. what is your current radio station buffer time setting ?

Are you using a local LMS or through mysb.com ? If using a local LMS - enabling LMS proxying may also help.

For Radio Buffer timeout - on the LMS WebUI Settings/Advanced/Network menu

For Proxying - this is a per player setting under WebUI Settings/Player/Audio - "MP3 Streaming method" - ignore the name as I think it also affect WMA

Thanks for the info, buffering is currently set to 3 seconds

I'll increase to 10 and turn on proxy for the affect players

Only change one thing at a time (i.e.just increase buffer time) and see if it helps. They are solutions to two different problems - it is best understand the problem first.

OK, I've set the streaming bit back to what it was and just changed the buffer time.

I'll see during the week if this has resolved the issue.

    Thanks again for your help.
