Hello,
A weird problem suddenly happened to my system (SB Duet / Wifi / SB Server 7.5.1 running on a QNAP NAS). I don't have anymore sound output. I've tried to reset to factory settings the controler and the receiver but the same happens.
Don't know if I should update the software part on the NAS (but it was well working before...) or something.
Do you think my receiver is dead ?
BTW : I cannot test the digital output, I have no DAC but I can propable borrow one from a friend of mine.
Thanks.

No audio
Yup, just the latest round of problems. I see the same issues, tried the usual reboots, etc....no luck. Time for all of us the mass ship this crappy product back to Logitech. Im done. It is now removed from my AV system.

I have now 2 opportunities :
Buy a used Duet for 150€ or
Buy a used DAC Magic for 150€ that I could plug the the Duet I already have and if it's not working, I will probably use it with my HTPC and MPD tu replace the DUET.
What do you think ?

I think I'd first checkout the receiver a bit more. Does it light up like it is working? (white light?).
If you have more than one, then swap the PSU ( or another PSU of equivalence). PSU's might show that they are putting out the right voltage, but when they start to fail, the current falls below what is needed to drive a device.
As for replace, look on Amazon for a new one (there are some still around -uk amazon has one for 143 up) or better still look out on Amazon for offers on a Touch - I got a new one a while back for 135 ukp. That's more than a used replacement receiver, but then it's a newer device and should last longer than a 2nd hand receiver.

Yes, the receiver seems to be working (white light stronger when playing and smoother when paused) but no sound from the RCA outputs :-(

Checked the Audio settings on the sever for the player? If you haven't changed anything from a software perspective then it should not be that and changing server sw just adds another change.
Try plugging into different output device? (amp?).
Try plugging a different device into the amp?
I would try a different PSU before I do anything more costly or drastic.
Sorry if the above seems basic, but often I dive into (say) the server setup when it's a simple case that one of the kids unplugged something or changed a setting somewhere ( like the volume!)
How old is the device? Logitech warranty is 2years.

I've tried others input of my amp without results.
But all input of the amp work perfectly with all my others devices.
By the way, when the SB input is selected on the amp and when I start it, I can ear little "clack" noises but nothing more :-(
I'll try as you said another PSU if I can find one and I'll check my warranty...
Thanks anyway for your help.

Did you really factory reset it ? Hold button a longbtime until it flashes red fast ? If you only hold until it starts flashing slowly you only set it into network setup mode .
