    Squeezebox and iTunes

I can't get my ancient Squeezebox 3, using Logitech Media Server 7.7.2, to find new music in my iTunes 10.6.1 playlists (Mac OS 10.7.3). The Logitech program seems to be stuck in the way iTunes was 1-2 months ago.

Is there some newly introduced incompatibility here? Or have I lost my competence to the extent that I don't know what I'm doing.

I've done UMPTEEN, by actual count, scans for new & changed, and for the entire file. No difference.

ITunes ? Ok it may take a " clear and rescan everything " to update, seen some treads that suggest that ( but new and changed used to work way back )

I've done several "clear & rescans" as well as scanning just new stuff.

I think the problem is with Mac's new Lion OS version and the Squeezebox software. Something needs to be done to align them with each other.

    iTunes playlist problems

For like the last year iTunes playlists were present and functioning (mainly) in SBS 7.2. This last week they are gone. Any ideas on how SPS can find them again. All the usual solutions are tried - full rescan, reset PC, etc. I have not changed software or configuration. In fact, I have only been listening.

(iTunes linked to SPS and running on same computer. No address designated for playlist folder - no need in the past. Also, not sure where iTunes keeps playlists.).

Am also having a similar problem.
I've recently updated to LMS & playlists is now empty.
I've checked the iTunes option on & off, done a complete rescan every time, made sure every option's pointed to the correct directorys....
I assume that LMS looks at the .itl or .xml iTunes files - which worked in SBS - so I can only assume that the playlists scan function is somehow broken ?
The scan information even says it's found 8 from 8 playlists - but they're empty in LMS (SBS) player....
    Any ideas ?
