Boom lost internet connections (mySB.com, radios, podcasts) wile playng local FLAC on

    Dear all,

I am lost and clueless with my recent problem with the boom:

my boom (v57) has lost all the external connections (cannot connect to mySB.com, no radio playing, no podcasts) while still playing perfectly the FLACs on my NAS (LMS v7.7.1 on a synology DS710).

My other SB boxes (Touch, Duet, Radio) are working flawlessly.

All SB boxes and the LMS server are on the same subnet (192.168.1.x)

The boom has also lost the menu tree "Settings/Advanced" so I am no more in position to re-install the microsotfware. Any hints.

rebooting everything (router, server, boxes) + hard reset ("+" while plugging power) did noting either.
Tried also to tweak with UDAP:Net - no success because the configuration seems OK
    Wifi or ethernet: same result

    LMS server: 192.168.1.10 (v7.7.1)
    Router/gateway (Netgear/tomato): 192.168.1.1
    Boom: 192.168.1.24 (v57)
all other SB boxes: between 192.168.1.20 and 192.168.1.27
same results with my router dns or google's one.

    Any ideas?

This is a repost of the forums @ logitech

    Thanks

can't hurt to also try a xlinx reset on boom:

remove power. hold down "1" key on remote pointing at boom, then restore power....release the "1" key when you see the xlinx reset message flash on the boom screen.
Location 1: VortexBox 4TB (2.3) > LMS 7.8 > Transporter, Touch, Boom, Radio w/Battery (all ethernet except Radio)
    Location 2: VBA 3TB (2.3) > LMS 7.8 > Touch > Benchmark DAC I, Boom, Radio w/Battery (all ethernet except Radio)
    Office: Win7(64) > LMS 7.8 > Squeezelite
    Spares: several Touch, Radio, SB3
    Controllers: iPhone4S & iPad2 (iPeng7 & Squeezepad), CONTROLLER, or SqueezePlay 7.8 on Win7(64) laptop
Files: ripping: dbpoweramp > FLAC; post-rip: mp3tag, PerfectTunes; Streaming: Spotify

    Hum,

I only got a small remote without any numbers on it.

any other way to perform this?

    Thanks for the answer Gary,

hmmm, not sure. any remote from any SB player should work with boom if you have others. otherwise, not sure. maybe someone else has an idea.
