    6/26 - I suspect the seller will not help or be able to help, they just responded and somehow thought mac id's of the players had something to do with macintosh. I've emailed Logitech tech support twice, no response yet.
    7/1 - Squeezebox support has contacted me. They say they will link the mac id's to my email address. If this works that will be great!

    I am sorry to say I have the same issue with a squeezebox classic bought on ebay from the same seller. How do I unlock it?

    contact logitech support with your Mac address of the SB classic. They can fix this. Other recent posters have had the exact same issue and it was easily resolved.
    Location 1: VortexBox Appliance 6TB (2.2) > LMS 7.7.2 > Transporter, Touch, Boom, Radio w/Battery (all ethernet)

    I had not even heard of these Proprietary SB3s at all for the many years I've been on this forum until the last few months when there have been a number of messages like yours. I suspect someone got a large batch of these things relatively recently then sold them on ebay. Maybe they even bought them in bulk from "turnkey media solutions". Don't know.....

    pm on this forum wouldn't work as this forum is user to user, and any logitech developers that happen to hang out here are not the official tech support. You need official tech support.

    I just purchased a used Squeezebox and received the Turnkey Media - this device is disabled message. Per this thread I contacted tech support and explained my situation and provided my MAC and account email address. They said they took care of it. When I powered it up, I was able to go through setup and use Pandora or my local media server things where great. But each time I try to connect to the squeezebox.com server I get a device disabled message and have to unplug it. As long as I don't try to connect to the mysqueezebox server I'm good.

    Tech support threw in the towel after a month of going back and forth stating that since it was a Turnkey device originally they can't help. This of course contradicts what others have said in the forums.

    Any chance AndyG would be willing to remove my MAC from the database??
