Streaming music - through to Squeezebox Touch?

A new user; using a Mac with the last operating system; and the server software is working properly.

SqB Touch is plugged into a remote (from the Mac) amplifier and receiving the wifi signal. Working very nicely.

Is it possible to get the music you play on the Mac itself through to the SqB Touch?

I am thinking of the situation where you are logged into a music subscription service, in this case Sony's Music Unlimited - Qriocity. I want to channel that stream to the SqB Touch.

There is a wave input plug in that works with Windows. Not sure if there is anything for Macintosh unless you run it in a windows mode.

Nicecast will do the job and the free version will broadcast for one hour at a time before overlaying noise....a license key is pricey at $59. Supposedly the latest version of VLC will stream system audio too but I have not managed to get it working in OS X....FWIW did get VLC streaming to work with Linux and Windows with the help of posts here by Pastim
