Adding JB Hifi Now support would be good for Australian users which are currently left out in the cold by last.fm, spotify, rhapsody and well nearly ALL of the online music sources Logitech offer.
I posted this before with no one biting but perhaps its the wrong forum.

I emailed Logitech support and they said to post here.
So here is the gist of my email:
I live in Australia and find the lack of Squeezebox online music sources available to the Australian region disappointing.
I believe nearly all offered by Squeezebox are not supported in Australia.
I was wondering if JB HiFi Now support could be added to the Squeezebox. JB Hifi Now is an online music service available to Australians for a monthly fee offering many millions of tracks. They have a desktop and mobile version of the app(iOS and Android with Windows Mobile 7 coming soon), so I assume their agreement with the record labels allows for adding support to non desktop products such as Squeezebox.
I understand there is licensing issues and such, but I would love if adding the support could be investigated in the near future.

Maybe most hit this message as I did:
"Sorry.
JB HI-FI Now
is not available
in your country.
It looks like you’re outside of Australia.
We are really sorry, but JB HI-FI Now is only
currently available in Australia."

You should hopefully see some news really soon.

This will be welcome.
FYI JB HiFi is a specialty retailer of branded home entertainment products with 160+ stores and revenue of $A3Billion but I have never seen a Squeezebox in store, nor can I find them listed online. Having Squeezebox support their streaming service hopefully will get JB stocking and selling the SB line.A camel is a racehorse designed by a committee.

The stupid things with JB's geo ip home page is that it does not even list any contact info at all

So they clearly don't want to communicate with foreigners .--------------------------------------------------------------------

Hopefully their standard site is available worldwide.
JB Hifi is a very large company and does not appear to really have a lot of email addresses or phone numbers to call them on when it does not regard simply buying products from them
I look forward to what mherger hints at. I hope soon is actually soon and isn't some claim of soon that never actually comes such as what Spotify and Rhapsody have been claiming to Australian users for years now.
Right now all we get from Spotify is:
Sign up to be first in line when Spotify launches in your country!
Spotify is currently not available in your country. Enter your email address to be first in line when we launch!
Rhapsody:
Sorry, we are not able to offer Rhapsody Premier at this time.
We are not able to offer Rhapsody Premier in Australia at this time. For the latest music and entertainment offers in your country, click Current Offers. Click Cancel to end this session.
Last.fm we can sign up to their service but it is totally hidden on Squeezebox players.Last edited by bits; 2012-05-01 at 16:18.

For any Australians reading this thread, Spotify now supports Australia!
Just tested it out with my Squeezeboxes and it works fantastically.
