hi
i am new here, found this place looking for usefull infos for wma11b linksys media adapter
i use linux (mostly debian : aptosid;kubuntu;bodhilinux;debian)
i have downloaded wmaloader and have ran it with an image of squishguava.bin :
bbox:~$ wmaloader --image Downloads/squishguava.bin

wma11b connected for this trial on the ethernet port (using dhcp) , i don't know how to communicate further
with it : is there a way to install a slimserver and how do i use it ?
(bbox is connected to lan/internet through wlan for trial purpose)
also, i would like to find a way to move the wma11b to an other room, communicating through a wifi connection.
trouble is that my home wifi uses wpa encryption wich do not seems to be accessible for the wma11b
(i was trying with a xp box before, and it seems the wma11b, after a correct setup with the linksys cd,
through ethernet link direct to pc, never recognised my home wlan. i should use a "ad-hoc" connection i suppose
but nevertheless my goal is to use linux only
any suggestion welcome i am stuck for now !
thanks,
apog
