EDO USB - can DAC be turned off between sessions without need to reboot EDO?

I know early on the USB option for EDO required that the DAC remain on, or a reboot would be required of EDO if DAC turned off. Is that still the case, or has that issue been resolved? I know it is not an issue with S/PDIF connection.

    Thanks.

Only downloads from the LMS Client project requires https.

This should give you the same result, but you'd need to update the squeezelite-1.8.7.1007-armv6hf.tar.gz in the url as newer versions are released.

    Code:
    mkdir squeezelite
    cd squeezelite
    wget -O squeezelite.tgz https://sourceforge.net/projects/lmsclients/files/squeezelite/linux/squeezelite-1.8.7.1007-armv6hf.tar.gz/download
    tar -xzf squeezelite.tgz squeezelite
    mv squeezelite squeezelite-armv6hf
    rm squeezelite.tgz
    Hi Ralph,

I uploaded the latest armv6hf version of your squeezelite to my site, and I changed my tutorial to use this link:

    http://www.gerrelt.nl/RaspberryPi/sq...armv6hf.tar.gz

Is this allright with you? If you don't want this, just say so, I will remove the link.

    Greetings,
    Gerrelt.

It's not on compatibility list, only the X-12 which I believe has a different XMOS chip.
