Hello
I'm in the UK and have been on Napster for years. All my beautiful playlists seem to have been destroyed in the switchover - ugh
The old Napster player seemed to be able to handle a library consisting of music on your hard-drive plus streamed tracks. Also, my playlists consisted of both types.
However, the new Napster 5 (Rhapsody) web player, cannot seem to recognise music stored on my hard drive. So my playlists have become much smaller. I cant find a way to synchronise ... Also, it does not seem possible to install the Napster/Rhapsody player software in the UK.
Is it as bad as it seems ?
Thanks for any help

Same problem...how do I connect to New Napster
I'm all signed up to new Napster (probably the most badly handled takeover ever) and can't seem to
re-connect to my new Napster account. I enter new login/passwords etc but get failure notice.
Anyone got suggestions? Thanks

Try installing the Rhapsody app, enter your old Napster login info.

Napster gone
I'm having the same problem and have been working on it without success. (Would have been nice if Rhapsody had sent Napster users an email saying they were discarding Napster and what we were to do about it.) I can even log into the Rhapsody/Napster website see my account with all my favourites and purchases but when I come to play any music I am told I need to sign in to play more than 30 secs! (They have changed the user name from what I used to use to my email I discovered before I got even that far.)
But no this latter ploy doesn't work with Squeezbox - I have removed Napster app; reinstalled it put in my username that gets me into my account on Rhapsody/Napster web site but message comes up saying I have no free credits on Rhapsody.
How to lose tens of thousand of customes in one easy step - well done Rhapsody but if anyone could help I would be grateful.

Rhapsody app - what's that?
Oh and there is no such think as a Rhapsody app as far as I can see. Does this mean non-US users have just been kicked out of play? Thanks very much Rhapsody.

Same problems here...
You are not alone.
I have very the similar issues / problems - and am in the UK.
For me, it stopped working, then it did work - I can't recall what I did in terms of plugins, and setting etc - and now, without changing anything, its stopped.
I can access Rhapsody ie. search, playlists, etc etc. But it won't play. It keeps complaining that I've run out of credits on my Rhapsody 25 account.
Of course, I haven't run out as my rhapsody / napster account shows my subs running through to next month sometime.
I'm guessing someone's not migrated the accounts correctly... and I going to give customer services a call on Monday.
Will let you know how I get on...
Unless - of course - anyone else knows better and I'm just being dumb!

Napster gone
Thanks but it is, and always has been, but no Rhapsody appears in App gallery?
(This problem also applies when I try and play Napster/Rhapsody direct through the PC speakers - I am all signed in but I am told I need to sign in to hear more than 30 seconds! I have emailed Rhapsody support but haven't had a reply.)

No, you won't see Rhapsody, you should see Napster!!!
If I uncheck the Rhapsody plugin in LMS, the Napster app icon disappears.
If I check the Rhapsody plugin in LMS, the Napster app icon returns and works fine for me.
To further confuse things, you need the "Napster" app installing at mysqueezebox.com, and enter your new login details - they seem to have changed from a login name to your email address.kidstypike

Called customer services on 020 736510791 and pressed [1] for billing/accounts.
Spoke to a lady who said that all Napster users got a 14 day trial on migration. She then gave me a free month and said my card would then be charged from now on.
As if by magic, it all works again.
Hope that helps anyone else in the UK struggling with this.
