controller buttons just blinking and display stays dark

Hi all,
has anybody experienced something similar...
suddenly my controller buttons just blinking and display stays dark..
nothing helps..I tried all kinds of reset..accu out and in ...on ...off ..still the same...
no matter if the controller stays in the charger or not..I guess the accumulator is ok..because out of the charger I can switch the controller on and off as often I want..
The controller never fell down ...etc.
Has anybody an idea???

I have had this a couple of times and the only thing that worked was to take the battery out for a short time and it worked on reconnection.

I was not sure from what you said that you did this.

thx4 the one and only reply ;-)...for sure I tried that...but it didn't changed anything...
as soon I'm back from my eastern trip I will check if the accumulator is the problem at all or if the controller has the problem..

I would like to know if you fix the problem with the squeeze box controller, I have the same problem, i tried all, soft and hard reset, replace the battery and nothing works, the display still black, i dont know what to do !
