LogitechMediaServer-7.8.0-1362754234.exe
The new version lists all radio functions and works fine in my setup

-> Maybe i had a connection failure to mysb.com. I didn't do any research for the cause of the problem.
thanks a lot !!!!

Whilst we're on the subject, does anyone know why I often get size mismatches?
e.g:
calum@getz:~$ sudo apt-get update
calum@getz:~$ apt-cache policy logitechmediaserver

Thanks, Erland, you are a real wise guy, - and sorry to everybody for my hotheaded posting. I did not want to offend anybody here but I was so deeply disappointed about how a billion dollar enterprise would destroy years of efforts of enthusiast people - be it the former developers in the slimdevices environment or be it the customers of such a technology who are enthusiasts as well.
Yeah, I realize that there is a certain contradiction between enthusiasm and successfully running a company - at least at certain "chapters" of their life cycle
.

I see this in the latest commit for 7.8
Very interesting. No longer rely on mysb.com for internet radio
- Implement TuneIn in LMS locally.

Not sure if this has been asked before (or Michael has a definite plan). Is the plan to do a 7.8 final which is the best version for everyone to migrate to?

I don't think there's a plan for 7.8 yet. Logitech's stand is 7.7.x is the
last official release. 7.8 and forward is up to the community.
As of today 7.8 only has minor changes compared to 7.7. Andy and I have
been discussing more changes to make it more independent from mysb.com,
and to remove mysb.com specific code.

Hi Michael, speaking as someone who has committed to Squeezebox (7 devices), I hope you and Andy are able to work further on this. Removing the mysb.com dependencies from LMS would give Logitech an avenue to shutdown mysb.com in a way that is fair and reasonable to their faithful user community.
Thank you for your continued support of this forum.
