Will 7.7.2 be released?

I see that 7.8 trunk is being branched. Is r33887 the end of the line for 7.7?

7.7.2 is a couple of weeks away. We just need to start on some 7.8 stuff too.

And how about finally sorting out the DHCP code on the Receiver so we don't have to factory reset them after a power outage if our router is on anything other than 192.168.0/1.1?

And how about a rating system to Implement trackstat-style (free) functionalities in the core product ? Ideally complemented with a way for users to identify itelf (kind of simplified login) to players so statistics/ratings can be related to users ? Of course 'last played' would be part of that. Even better, let each users choose what directories compose his own library so everyone has his own music (multi library style) in the family. Of course that could be used for other media than music (movies, photos).

At last, a web page dedicated to multi-room management where one can sync/unsync players easily, login to players easily. Perhaps have the ability to draw your own house and position the players onto it. Idealy coupled with ability to use simple macro ( cron style) at specific times to sync/unsync players.

Perhaps i dream but with 10 players and 6 users at home, this what i look forward to having.

I'll add a +1 for this as well. Also, I want the old functionality to be able to see albums by an ALBUMARTIST only, not all the albums they feature on. Why this was removed I don't know, but when you have artists that feature on lots of albums and have lots of albums in their own right, sometimes you want to be able to filter these. In the (good) old days you could click on the Album Artist hyperlink and only see their actual albums.

But since I've got to factory reset another Receiver today, please fix this. It's getting ridiculous!
