Wake-on via Wifi?

Hi all,

I'm thinking about going the cheap notebook/linux route and stream LMS over
wifi to my sb radio.

Is it possible to have it wake up over wifi?

In most cases the computer that you want to wake up has to have a wired connection. So the SB Radio can be connected via wifi, but you'll need a wired connection between the notebook and the router. The exception is if the computer's network card supports wireless wake-on-LAN, but these cards seem to be pretty rare, and you almost certainly wouldn't find one in a cheap notebook.
