Equalizing PlugIn for SB players?!

I`m using Logitech Media Server Version: 7.7.1 - r33750 with some players. Now I tried to use amplified GENELEC speakers (8020a) directly@Line Out of Squeeze Box Classic. Due to small speakers bass is very poor.

Is there a possibility to make some equalizing or tone controls with Squeezebox player?

I found "INGUZ" via search function, but this PlugIn doesn´t work, even with modified plugin.pm from this forum ("Couldn´t start Plugin" is written in Logitech web interfache: Plugins.).

I have tried all the workarounds (as best I understand them) and still cannot get Inguz to work in 7.7.1 (r33750)...

advice anyone?
