No automatic connection?

Hi,

I have a Squeezebox Boom. All works fine from my laptop (Win 7 64bit). However if I reboot my laptop, when it comes back on it does not see the Squeezebox Boom.

I use the web control and on the little drop down box in the top right hand corner, it says player not found. I have not switched the Squeezebox off in the meantime. I have also tried refreshing the web page.

I then have to go to the Squeezebox and manually set it to connect to my laptop. The web interface then picks it up in the drop down menu.

Is this the only way to do it? Can the laptop and the Squeezebox be set to connect automatically when the laptop is switched on?

The web UI's ability to "grab" the player can be finicky at times. Why I do not know.
