I run 7.7.2 and have found that over time the dB clog up and you have to do a clear and rescan the telltale sign is that it suddenly crash at files it usually accepted, or simply never finish correctly hence the analyse phase is never done , currently I'm the stage that new and changed never reports that it is finished you have to abort or restart server of course the new music is still found so the scan really worked but something else gets wrong . So I'm up for the monthly clear and rescan everything ?

Went to new music and it's 30 seconds now with no response.

> illegal file descriptor or filehandle
A common problem around here:

Could it be an anti-virus issue?

It's such a common error that it's also hard to say whether or not it has anything to do with the problem you're seeing.
I'd still like to know if it's only 'New Music'. This has been reported before in the forums.
Are you running any third party plugins?

Well, you can always go back to using MySQL. 105,000 tracks just may be too much for SQLite.

In addition to the instructions in the post above, you'll need to manually install DBD::mysql, since it's been removed from the server code.
C:\Perl\bin>ppm install DBD-mysql

I've noticed marginally longer times for my music / new music when the server's been restarted. (Maybe 8 seconds instead of three.)
I have my cache on ramdisk, which it sounds like you are doing too (?)
