Because I, too, have been away, I haven't tried the OPML lists. However, I have no problem accessing the regular radio streams.

I'm having trouble with this. the Generic OPML Browser plug in is enabled -- that is, it's checked but the checkbox is greyed out. I'm assuming this mean it's enabled, but can't be un-enabled.

However, the OPML Playlist Browser and Editor, which should be showing up in the Extras section of web remote control, isn't there. There seems to be no way to load and OPML list.

I called support, and "Matt" said that they were seeing the same thing and assumed it was a problem with the current version of LMS. The implication was that this was a problem that "engineering" would have to fix.

    Comments?

(am crossposting in the LMS section, so replies should go there)

    Concerts On Demain streams?

    Hi Ron,

I would very much like to know how you access COD now through LMS. There used to be playlist links on the old site that I could copy and paste, but I don't see any such URLs now. What's the secret? :-)

P.S. Thanks a bunch for the link to the list of new stream URLs!

Jeez, I hadn't checked in lately with COD, and I see now that it's all changed. Am not at my home set up so can't really experiment, but there isn't anything obvious. You can copy a URL from individual tracks, but they don't actually play as an address themselves, need still to click on a link.

Maybe the same source as the data stream info can help out with this, I will check.

    mySB not in Canada?

The new CBC music sites are "geo-fenced" so that they can't be listened to in the U.S., because the CBC doesn't have the international rights to stream commercial music.

But there's no reason we shouldn't be able to get these services on a Squeezebox radio that's in Canada, and using a Canadian ISP (Rogers.)

I spent about half an hour on the phone with Logitech support yesterday. Really nice guy, really helpful, but he couldn't figure it out. It's not my ISP, because I can get the streams on my home computer -- just not on the Squeezebox.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
After many months agonizing over trying to get the new(and some of the old) CBC web music streams to work on my touch and radio ,I've found a fix of sorts.
A while back some of the CBC streams that I had saved in favorites stopped working giving me the "not found in playlist" error message. Some worked , some didn't, and at the time didn't make sense. Around the same time one of my desktop computers ( the one hosting LMS) went down and I've been too busy to get it back online. It also hosted ALL of my music but I had a backup drive with said music that I plugged in to my laptop...whew! Today the penny dropped while searching for work-arounds for the CBC streams and somebody suggested installing LMS on a NAS which worked for him, I've just realized with the desktop down so was my local LMS. With the touch connecting to a local LMS through the laptop and not mysqueezebox.com (ie. when the laptop/desktop is off) I was able to listen to ALL CBC had to offer. Unfortunately , it means leaving a computer on if you want to listen to these streams.

Hmm. I do not typically use mysqueezebox.com -- I seldom use any streaming services. Everything is local, and I use LMS for everything. In the past, I was able to use CBC URLs with ease, using either OPML or saved favorites, and accessing through my full-time dedicated LMS device (a special-purpose small PC run headless).

How exactly do you access the streams through LMS?

    CBC music available

I've just found that the CBC Music streams are all available through standard presets via the SB system. On the Controller, they are found under Internet Radio, National Systems, CBC, CBC Music. All there in good form. About 40 of them, different genres.

I get a "403 Forbidden Radio" error message when trying to access any of the items under CBC Genres. I am in Montreal QC (still in Canada last time I checked but it's a moving target) so location should not be at issue. Any thoughts?

    Thanks
