Update: problem solved -- the Media Server could not log into mysqueezebox.com because the email address was wrong (my error).
------------------
Just got a Radio; have been using a Boom for a long time.
Both connect to my Logitech Media Server (previously called SqueezeBox Server).
Both play my Favorites and both play files in my Music Folder.
But only the Boom sees the many podcasts that I've configured on the server.
After installing the Podcasts app on the Radio, only two choices appear ("PodcastAlley Top 50" and "PodcastAlley 10 Newest") and both return a "404 Not Found" when selected.
How can my Radio see the podcasts configured on my server?
Thanks in advance.

Make sure you haven't got the Podcast plugin enabled (check in WebUI Settings/Plugins). It is out of date and shouldn't be used anymore. If it is disabled you will not have Podcast menu item under Edxtras menu on players and WebUI.
The Podcasts you want available should be added only on mysb.com and not on your local server through the LMS WebUI/Settings.
IIRC Podcast alley site has broken the OPML/XML links that LMS uses. In fact I think Podcast alley site is not being maintained as last blog entry is 2010.

Thanks. That worked.
But I thought one reason for using Logitech Media Server is to eliminate any dependence on mysqueezebox.com, which in theory could be discontinued if Logitech drops the SqueezeBox products.
With the prior solution (which I don't seem to be able to get back to now), all info appeared to stored with the Media Server.
Is there no way to set up podcasts without using mysqueezebox.com?

I think the change was to make operation using mysb.com and LMS seamless - all your podcasts would appear the same irrespective of whether LMS was running or not. Many users do not want to run LMS all the time.
With the "what happens if mysb.com goes away " - see this thread http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=93488 . Suffice to say that losing Podcast menu would be the least of your problems.
To get back old functionality would mean updating the old podcast plugin to support the new players - probably a few minutes work but if mysb.com is gone - there will be other issues to deal with first. However this is straying a bit into Chicken Little territory. Worry about mysb.com going away if and when it happens - for now enjoy your music etc.

After adding several podcasts to my account at mysqueezebox.com, all appear on my Radio, but only some appear on my Boom.
Why don't all appear on my Boom?
E.g.,
http://exploration.podbean.com/feed
appears on my Radio as "Exploration", but it does not appear on my Boom.
