In setting up the Spotify Application by Triode so that my Squeezebox Duet is able to play music via Spotify, and Spotify playlists, it failed. Under Advanced Settings in the server, for the Spotify application, upon clicking the "Start Test" button, it stated that "The Helper App is not running." How can I diagnose what the problem is, or solve it?

Have you opened port 9005 in your firewall on the pc running LMS?

simple but annoying
it is more simple, change the port to 9006, 9005 might be in use. That is basically what the error means. It took me an hour to get it right but spotify is working right now. Remember to enter your password again after changing the port number.
