Just a note for anyone considering updating to LMS 7.7.2 on an x86 or SPARC ReadyNAS... make sure to remove/uninstall your current version before installing the new nightly build. Starting with 7.7.2 nightly build 33808, LMS will now appear in the Add-Ons category, rather than under Streaming Services as it has in the past.
If you fail to remove it from Streaming Services before installing the new build, then try to remove it from Streaming Services, RAIDiator/FrontView will get confused... it will show up in both places, but nothing will really be installed, and it will take a couple of install/uninstall cycles of both old and current builds to get everything straightened out.
As long as this doesn't change again, hopefully this will be the end of the uninstall before installing a new build process, and we don't have to lose our settings every time we install a new version going forward!

Thanks for the heads-up! I'll see what we can do about this.

I'm not complaining either way... I personally don't mind it being under "Add-Ons" instead of "Streaming Services"... I was just alerting everyone to the change and the need to uninstall/reinstall rather than just installing over the existing version.
I figured the change was made so as to have it called Logitech Media Server rather than the two-names-old SqueezeCenter.

I'm not sure I had a choice tbh. We were using an old way to package LMS
for ReadyNAS. By moving to the new packager, that's what we ended up with.

Like I said, that's fine by me.
As long as it'll be in the same place going forward, it probably won't be an issue.

Upgrading instructrions
Strange!
I have been using Readynas for a few yeras now and I am very satiesfied. Any time I wanted to upgrade to a newer version of Squeezecenter ( I am still using 7.6.1) I followed the instructions which are to be found on the squeezebox website. And there I am warned to uninstall the software first including deleting all the squeezbox settings (the latter being rather inconvenient). Well I have always folllwod these instructions. I didn't think it would work properly. Maybe the other users should do it similarly.
Regards.
