Last night I set up 3 BBC stations using aac urls and all worked well including Radio 3 at 320 kbps. This morning I cannot access BBC aac but I see '403 forbidden' & station name.

Works OK for me in Ireland.
Where are you and what URL are you trying ?
I think the URL should be http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/listen/live/r3_aaclca.plsLast edited by bpa; 2012-01-29 at 06:23.

Thanks bpa, that worked. The (long) urls I used last night were got from Reciva BBC streams. Why they were accepted on Saturday but not on Sunday is a mystery.

The long urls are signed urls for the actual stream and are only valid for a period of time - so they will work for a while, but not after that. You should use these urls.
Note the BBC Radio applet which supports live and listen again streams will use this R3 url for the live aac stream.

Thank you. I thought the radio was playing tricks.
