I'm wondering if something has been made to get the sound of the PC, for example, from a Squeezebox Boom. I've it near workstation and sometimes it would be useful to get sound through it, say a Skype phonecall or a Youtube video.

There's a plugin to do this though it's a bit buggy and the lag is sufficiently bad that you wouldn't want to use it for those purposes.
See WaveInput and WaveInput for Linux on this page: http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/PluginsAudio
I haven't played with either of them in a while so I have no idea of their maintenance status. Frankly I don't think they're worth your time. If you have a Boom remember that it has a line input. Just run a cable from your pc to the Boom.Last edited by azinck3; 2012-01-21 at 12:48.
