Hi,
is there a place to tap into spdif or i2s on the boom circuit board, where would be the ideal place?
also is there an i2s-->spdif daughter board that could be used in the boom (if there isn't a spdif signal anywhere)?
Thanks!

I've never done it, but if you want volume control, it looks like a sensible place to get I2S is before the DAC for the headphone jack. TwistedPearAudio.com has an I2S to S/PDIF board.
