Radio Italia, possible to hear ?

    Hi there !

I am just starting with the Squeezebox, and have searched for a radio my wife was listening in the past on the internet : Radio Italia.

    http://www.radioitalia.it/player.php

Issue is that I can not find it on the squeezebox.
How may I know if this radio is "free" ?

Also, I could not find it anymore, but I thought I saw somewhere I could enter myself the URL of a radio which is not presented by default by the SB ?
I can not find that anymore ...

    Many Thanks !

You can edit the name to anything you want. I found the link on Reciva.com, another internet radio source. Did a search and when I click on the link, it open in windows media player. The link is in the properties section when right clicking the link.

There are 2 station id'ing themselves as Radio Italia.

Sorry but how do you modify the name ?
So far I typed the URL you gave in the "search" of the "Internet radio" on the server, and saved it in preset 1.

P.S. : you say also Radio Italia can be foubd in the search menu as an available free radio ?

From your player or the LMS web UI on your computer go to Internet Radio > Search, type in radioitalia, two stations come up.
Neither is playable if your player is connected to MySB.com, but they are playable if your player is connected to LMS server.

To edit the name on the LMS web UI click the pencil icon, this places LMS into Edit mode, then you can edit the stream name or the URL itself.

ok - I was so far using the search on the radio itself, and I think I didn't saw the radios coming in ... But I effectively see a lot (not only 2) of radios typing radio Italia, and the first one is effectively "Radio Italia".

I need to verify if it is the correct one .... but I am wondering how to open it to test (my radio is at the third floor now, and i am now on my computer.
Here is the stream I got :

P.S. : the pencil icon to edit the name ... I do not see it ...

You need to be viewing the LMS (Logitech Media Server) web UI on your computer to see the pencil.
