SB won't progress past update

When I try & access any function on my SBT, it immediately goes to the screen where update (7.7.1 r9558) is suggested to download. Despite a 100% wireless connection, the update won't load and the message "There was a problem installing this update - Please try again" keeps appearing.

Therefore I can't access anything as trying to do so just automatically goes to the update menu which won't update.


Can anyone help me please?

I get that occasionally, but usually restarting the device makes it work. There is a small button on the back of the Touch (left side) that will restart it without unplugging.
