Nasty white noise after playback.

Hi,
since the last 4 month I'm experiencing a nasty problem with my SBTouch,
sometimes at the end of the track the SBTouch will playback a burst of white noise for about 1 sec or less.
I was hoping that 7.7.0 fixed this particular problem but it still there, when listening at loud volume or with headphone this burst is very annoying and I'm worry to damage my tweeters.


Any advice will be appreciated...I wonder if this could be a decoding problem, tough it happens randomly with mp3 and Flac files.

Hi !
I got exactly the same problem. I have to add this noise is VERY loud. It seems happening with transition activated in squeezeboxserver, and only with mp3 files, or at least not with .flac files.
I'm under LMS 7.7.1, running on a QNAP TS219 via ethernet.I was previously under SQS 7.5.3 with no trouble of this kind.
Does anybody experienced this ?

I had the same problem. I think I had the settings for player/ audio/ fading set to fade-in and fade-out (the last here; I have it in german, so not quite sure whether this is exactly right).
My workaround was to switch it to just fading (here it's the second entry).
