Ah, there we go! I made a feeble attempt yesterday that didn't come out anywhere near as nice as that.
I would buy one of them - it wouldn't even need to be a touch screen!Rich

Love all these ideas... Boom II, add/detachable Radio speaker.... love 'em all!
But that is assuming Logitech actually thinks logically, and that seems to be asking a lot, unfortunately.
To this very day, some 3+ years after Logitech acquired SlimDevices/SqueezeBox, it hasn't even occurred to Logitech to include some of their OWN speaker offerings simply listed as accessories to their own SqueezeBox players on their own web site.
Now, would *I* pair up Logitech speakers to say a Touch? No, and I'd guess most would not as well. But I assure you some would. How many forum posts ask about adding speakers? How many forum posts ask about a recommendation for a Sub to add to their Boom? Plenty! In fact, inexpensive Logitech 2.1 speaker systems are often recommended in here for Boom + Sub usage, I use one myself ($99 Logitech 2.1 system) and it sounds GREAT with my Boom for Sub use.
So Logitech users in a Logitech forum recommend Logitech products to other Logitech customers to use in conjunction with other Logitech products that Logitech themselves don't even think to recommend on their own web site. It's just not logical, to me anyway.
That was fun.

Actually they're not quite that out to lunch. I definitely recall that for a time they did offer "bundles" with Logitech speakers. Don't press me for dates or model numbers, but I'm sure I saw it. And my reaction was the same as yours: not something I would do, even though there have been times I've connected my SB2 to worse speakers. And I'm sure some would be happy with it.

This one, perhaps?

Yeah, I did indeed miss the bundle specials. But I'd surely take it one step further and make such speakers a permanent part of the Touch's accessories option.
