    can not connect to mysqueezebox.com

OK - this is getting nuts. Almost everyday I get this message: can not connect to mysqueezebox.com. When I go to diagnostics on the controller, all the network info is ok; the IP for mysqueezebox.com seems OK, it says it can ping it. All the info in the controller is right. When i go to "check network" it says everything is peachy. When I "Repair the Network" it brings it up and down and says everything is peachy. But - it still CAN NOT CONNECT TO MYSQUEEZEBOX.COM.
If I unplug the receiver, unplug the modem, wait a bit and start it all up again it usually works but i CAN'T DO this everyday. Does anyone know what the problem is when this error message appears and if there is an easy fix???? I'm just about to throw this thing out the window.
My wireless network is fine, and in fact, even when it can't connect to mysqueezebox.com, it shows that it is connected to my network. thanks a bunch, mb

I have had this problem for god knows how long now, since whichever upgrade in the dim & distant past - it'd be nice to know how to fix it, if possible, as a lot of the time I only want to listen to the readio, and used to be able to do so without my computer having to be on.

One of the things being suggested by Logitech support is to increase your routers Lease time. These are often set to one day (24 hours). Try setting it to like 1,000 hours. All this does is make the amount of time between DHCP IP/Lease renewal of your network devices less frequent. How/why/if this will help I don't know, but that it one thing they are suggesting.

How does one go about increasing one's lease time? Never heard of the concept, but then again I am very much just a rank amateur....!

I also only using the Duet for internet radio - I am not running the server on my computer music at all. Which is why this error is a continuing disaster....

I agree with Dave that I'm not sure how to interact with my router... I'm using AT&T DSL and don't really have any software that lets me adjust anything? It just sits there plugged into my phone line???

Most any router will have web UI access to it's settings, it has to some how to allow changing SSID, broadcast ch, encryption type & passphrase, etc...
How much access you may be limited too from an ISP provided router is another issue.

Type (or cut & paste) or just click on this into your web browser: http://192.168.1.1
This is probably the single most common IP used to access router admin functions, you will likely see a Login page offered.

Check the users guide for your particular router make & model for instructions on menu navigation, settings, login default, etc...

    2nd try:
    http://192.168.0.1

and if you don't have your user guide, try googling with the info you can see on the bottom of your router. you'll likely find users guide on web.
