Quite often a discrepancy between muso and LMS is that the latter processes and stores cue files as separate entities.
    Thank you - that worked.

    I don't use cue files.

OK please send details of the discrepancies to support@klarita.net and we'll take it from there.

well, no help from the developer of MUSO, but I fixed it myself.

    it was a permissions issue.

had to go into the windows Installation directory and allow full permissions...

To be fair, I did try to help, and it seems (as I suggested) that it wasn't a specific Muso issue, rather a windows issue that affected Muso.

help, muso won't run after update

    originally posted in wrong forum:

"I opened muso and a message popped up stating there was an update. i was directed to your website where i downloaded the lastest version. now after installing i can't get it to run properly. it seems to be running in the background since i can find it in task manager. but the graphical interface is no where to be seen. what do i do?

    Kerkula"

    Reply instructed me to

"Kill it via task manager (should be called "AlbumBrowser.exe" in the process list if it's not in the application list). Then run it with the "Run in debug mode" option from the menu and send me the log file if it happens again."

here is the content of the log file:

    thanks for your help,

It seems like your database, and its backups, have become corrupt. You could delete the files from C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\My Music\muso\database\ in order for it to start afresh, or retrieve them from one of your own backups if you have one. If you use LMS as the source it's not a huge task to pull in the data again on a synch. If this is a huge issue, please send me the contents of this folder zipped up (to support@klarita.net) and I'll see if it can be retrieved.

That didn't work so did a total uninstall and re-install. Not so hard actually. I'm up and running again.

    thanks

OK good. Incidentally, corruption of the main database file AND its two backup copies has never happened before, to anyone, so you can consider yourself very unfortunate. I'll review the logic to see if I can see how this could have happened.

    Muso is dead

I just tried to update my registered copies of muso to version 1.4.22 on two different computers, both running Windows 7 Home Premium and now muso will run properly on either computer. Muso will run for a few seconds and then go into "not responding" mode for several minutes and then will run for a few seconds and then back to "not responding" mode for several minutes - over and over and over again. This is happening on both computers, both of which were successfully running version 1.4.18

I've attached the muso.log file which was generated by trying to run muso in debug mode, which also did not work.

Is 192.168.1.9 still a valid address for LMS?
