I've looked into it, it's probably only going to be an external configuration option (i.e. by editing a config file and moving the data folder yourself if you want to retain your data) - moving all the files WITHIN the application proved to be a bit of a nightmare due to locked files, permissions etc.

Editing the config file would work fine for me. I could, however, not find any path info in the current config file.

Thanks for adding the option in v. 1.4.32!

Unfortunately the Windows installer for that version seems not to work.

Thanks! It worked, both the installation and moving the muso folder after editing the ini file.

    Artwork

Hi, I have just downloaded and installed Muso (1.4.32 Trial Version) and have a couple of questions. I'm running the Logitech Media Server on a freenas box and am running Muso on a Windows 7 (x64) PC. After a bit of trial and error I managed to get my collection imported from LMS however most of my artwork is embedded in the music files and has not been imported into Muso. Does Muso import the embedded artwork?
In addition a lot of the Album titles have additional info in them ie (MFSL LP). This, I believe is preventing Muso from pulling info from last.fm. Does Muso ignore info in brackets in the Album title, if not, can it?
Otherwise you software looks quite promising.

Muso does look in the music files for artwork yes, but if it doesn't find any in the first 3 tracks of the album it doesn't check further. If your files are on your freenas box success with this method depends on setting the equivalence paths correctly, so that the box running muso can read the files. For example a SBS prefix of C:\ (which is what muso will store for your paths if you imported them from SBS) may need to be translated to a full UNC path of \\freenas\C\ for the Windows 7 pc to be able to reference them - and the path and song files must be readable to the remote user running of course.

NB. It also looks in the album folder for image files, and online using last.fm and amazon web services. It should try to find artwork for any new albums that it has imported after the import finishes, but you can invoke it again via the Tools/Find Missing Artwork options.

It's possible that an appended (MFSL LP) on the end of the title would affect the last.fm search yes. What does this represent? Is this in your music file tags?

Got it Squeezebox Server Path prefix: /mnt/Media and Equivalent prefix on Muso \\Freenas\Media. Artwork is now being imported. Thankyou

The additional info on the Album tag is used to differentiate between different versions of the same album i.e. Come Away with Me = original CD version. Come Away with Me (24-96) = 24bit 96Khz download from HDTracks. The album review addon for LMS (which doesn't work at the moment) strips any info within brackets from the Album tag so that it can match with the allmusic database. It would be good if you had this option.

OK, that should be quite easy to do - I think I may always strip off any trailing element in brackets rather than making it an option.
