I've finally built and fitted my own DIY Squeezebox touch wall mount.

DIY Touch wall mount - Pictures
The front of the mount was made out of 8mm MDF, left over from my recent kitchen!
The base was made from 15mm MDF at a corresponding angle to the base of the Touch, glued and screwed to the front panel, he holes then filled with car body filler.
A coat of wood primer followed by10 coats of auto car primer rubbed down using a guide coat then four coats of top coat gloss white.
The device in powered over CAT5.
The mounting screws will be covered with white plastic plugs once I'm happy with the final fit. I think the pictures say the rest/

Can you elaborate on the piece of equipment that is creating the power from the cat5. Looks the size of a pack of cigarettes.

Surprisingly simple. Actually looks nicer than the one Logitech considered selling for $99 at one point. The key is the base attached at the proper angle, which means that you don't have to remove the Touch's steel base and that you can set the screen almost flush with the face of the wall mount.

Nice - simplicity works.
Just wondering how rigid the base is - does it flex when you push the top part of the screen, since its only fixed at the base?
