It looks like it counts the artwork from the music as photos as well. Isn't that a bug?

    Before I install...

Some more Q the Linux LMS installer does it completely remove squeezeboxserver ,but retains settings ?
Does it removes the squeezeboxserver user .

I remeber the last name change in the midle of a beta, when we had to clean out all old cruft ourselves ?

Way back i experimented with some options like --nodnla and --noslimp3

I can't remeber wich file i messed with , I forget to make proper notes :-/

If I load the LMS rc I will try the dnlna parts to .

Any good photo viewing app for an iPad ?

Is there anyone who has tried the upnp part of LMS? I simply can't get it to work. Is there some kind of setup I should go through before it works?

Does it make sense to do the audio scans before the picture and video scans (i.e. do the fast stuff first to get some results and do the slower things later on)?

Just configured my pictures folder as media folder and do realize that it takes an awfull long time compared to my music library.
Did you know: SqueezePlayer will stream all your music to your Android device. Take your music everywhere!
Remote Control + Streaming to your iPad? Squeezebox + iPad = SqueezePad

The only thing I did was loading the plugin: UPnP/DLNA Media Interface (v1.0)
Then it appeared on my OPPO 93; I have tested some FLAC files and a movie

I have also loaded the UPnP/DLNA plugin.
I have tried using XBMC as a frontend and it finds LMS but it doesn't contains anything. I can't browse in the videos, music or pictures.
XMBC doen't have any problems with using Serviio or WhiteBear server.

This is on Windows XP. I have tried disable the firewall just to check if it was a missing port, but it didn't make any difference.

+1, my photos look like they will take 6 hours to scan so I can't listen to anything before that has finished.

I have a hard time seeing this as an RC1!!

If you want LMS to scan anything but music the scanner crashes all the time.
    The UPnP/DNLA doesn't work.
When the scanner crashes the only way I can get anything to work again is by uninstalling LMS and then reinstall.
From time to time it loses the directories where the music, video and photos is placed and there is no way to add them back again.
And just now I have discovered that it has changed the directories for scanning to default directories for music, videos and photos from Windows.

I just don't see this as an RC1. It is just too buggy.
