Since I've upgraded to 7.6.x the scanning process is permanently working. If it would detect new music right away, I would accept it. But it takes hours until new music appears. In 7.5.x I could directly browse the music folders and play directly. If I stop the process, it simply keeps going on (ref. attachment).
I don't understand the need why this process is scanning the library so deeply. For my understand it would be sufficient to do this depending on the users needs. To identify newly added music, it would be fine to only scan the specific folder. With 7.5.x I've scanned my library once a day.
With 7.6.x I don't see the MusicIP import step anymore. After the regular scan has finished this import was triggered.

Please vote that this affects you as well, so it might be taken care of soon. It seems some people are affected more seriously than others for some reason, but it is reproducable for everyone.2x Touch - 1x Radio - 1x Classic
