Which Squeezebox model? Not all SBs play AAC natively so your server might have to transcode.

Ok, also tried some of the links in your playlist. Don't work. Are you sure they are still valid? 8tracks links expire after some time, I believe.

sb touch & radio
Strange, because the m4a (ie: http://8tracks.s3.amazonaws.com/tf/0.../84173.64k.m4a) plays natively in my chromium too ?!

SBS behaves strangely when trying to stream some m4a files. I've done some testing with m4a podcasts where the usually problem is incorrect mime supplied in http headers.
Playlist files can add problems so I have been testing with just with a single stream or downloaded as a file.
http://8tracks.s3.amazonaws.com/tf/0...7b6d2e.64k.m4a
When attempting to stream it looks like SBS can't find the right conversion.
This file won't play when downloaded as faad or flac gives a segmentation fault but faad will process it OK from a shell prompt.

strange, this url/m4a works on a lot of players (totem, chromium, deadbeef, ...) on my computer (ubu11.4)
It should work on my SBS (same ubuntu)
If we can't resolve that : we never had a 8tracks plugin ;-(
