Shut down the server and delete all the database files, that should cause it to rescan.

It looks like it's rescanning, but doesn't show any progress... It just shows 'abort scan'. I think we can confirm that the Windows version is badly broken now. (7.6.1 - r33022) (Since all persons using Windows have the same error)

a continuation on my previous report on 33022.

So only half the music there... I settled for that as I was at work; annoying I know.... but I found that eg Abraxas only had 3 tracks and when I tried to play it only the first seconds played before it skipped to the next track etc....
Had a meeting and in the lunchbreak I cleaned the cache and went for a rescan.... and it went downhill from there "bad database" "no music source defined"... or something to that effect.
    Went back to 33011

Now at home... should I have a go at my music server.....?!

I tried running 7.6.1 with MySQL and get similar results, although the numbers aren't identical. A full scan comes back with approximately half the library. When I run with SQLite the track count is always identical (three tries so far). With both database systems, running new & changed scans afterward gradually picks up the missed files.

Running 7.5.6, a full scan stills returns all files.

That's what I see as well if the cache is cleared. And my SQLite editor reports a malformed database file.

A full scan only works when there is already an existing set of databases.

But we are still not there yet

Fyi i kept copies of the dB files between each pass now i shall run the new and changed scan again to see if it picks up the rest of my music .

Logs are not much ? should i use some particalur setting ? it's strange that missing >12000 files does not show a simple error of any kind ?
