    Hi SebP - thanks again for your efforts!

    As it stands now, w/ J-R's SSODS4.91 mod, we have now again a Version which runs SS 7.6.2:

    j-r, you are a god!

    Synology removing support for the DS-x07 drives was a blow, so it is great that there are those in the SB community keeping up support in the own time, thanks!

    LMS 7.7.0 working fine on my DS-107+ using ssods-4.9.1mod2-oldarm.tar.gz

    What is the EABI version for? Do I need that as well for anything or is it an alternative version for other NAS?

    Install 7.7.x on DS207+

    I think I got this "SSODS for for LMS 7.7 oldarm" working OK. I also managed to install logitechmediaserver-7.7.0.tgz, which I downloaded from the Logitech site. Once installed, my Logitech Radio can connect to it.
    Unfortunately there are zero songs in the music library. That is not surprising, as I find many errors in the server log as well as in the 'System Information' dump that I generated with the SSODS4 tools webpage. Many .conf files can't be found. I guess I missed something in the installation instructions.
    Some help would be highly appreciated.

    eabi is a new interface for compiling, the 07-series kernel doesn't support eabi, so you have to use SSODS for oldarm.

    Hi Pieter,

    it seems that you havn't created the symlinks:

    how to install ssods

    3. Prepare the installation directory

    On a DiskStation the data partition is usually mounted on /volume1:

    $ mkdir -p /volume1/SSODS4
    $ mkdir -p /opt
    $ ln -s /volume1/SSODS4 /opt/ssods4
    Current setup:
    Server:
    LMS7.7.3 nightly on Diskstation DS413 via SSODSmod 4.14
    LMS7.7.3 nightly on Diskstation DS409 via SSODSmod 4.14
    LMS7.7.3 nightly on Diskstation DS407 via SSODSmod 4.9.1
    Player:
    1 x Squeezebox Classic | 2 x Squeezebox Touch | 2 x Squeezebox Boom | 3 x Squeezebox Radio
    Controller:
    1x HTC One X ARHD | 1x HTC HD2 JellyTime | 2x HP Touchpad Cyanogenmod | 1x Asus Infinity CROMI | 1x Asus Nexus 7 3G

    Thanks for the quick response. Also many thanks for efforts efforts to make a new "installer". I can now postpone the purchase of a new NAS.

    I did follow the above instructions. After I made my post here, I once more tried the "SqueezeboxServer web interface". To my surprise it then started, and I was able to run the configuration wizard.

    Now a couple of hours later I can access my music collection on the DS207+. It is definitely slower than the SqueezeboxServer on my PC, but it is bearable for our kind of use.

    The error messages have not gone unfortunately. All directories seem to exist, and do contain files, except the ones mentioned missing in the log.
    That looks like some access rights are missing?

    Pieter
