Is it possible to stream Spotify free to Squeezebox?

I followed instructions using DS bridge, etc but it won't work.
Has Spotify (Free- not premium) somehow protected the stream from being broadcast? Is there a known workaround?

Spotify requires a premium subscription to stream to mobile devices or stationary streaming devices like the SB or Sonos. If you don't want to pay, you need to stick with their free pc-based service.
