    Smile Success!!!!!

Thank you so much! The problem was in fact that I had to open the Squeezebox Server "Web Control" panel and switch the player to my own computer!!! It was previously set to mysqueezebox.com. Who knows why.
I was doubting my sanity for awhile during this process.
Thank you all for your help, it is greatly appreciated!!!

Hi all - I'm having trouble getting this to work. I used to have this running using aRoku soundbridge but have recently moved over to squeezebox's and would like to get it up and running again.

I'm running squeezebox server 7.6.1 on a NAS and running spotify on a Win7 laptop. Flash is 11.1.102.55 (latest).

I've copied the dsbridge.ini, dsound.dll and lame_enc.dll files across into the C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash folder.

With regard to spotify, this appears to be using the directory C:\Users\...\AppData\Roaming\Spotify\spotify and rather than in the 'programs' directory. I've therefore copied the same 3 files into there also.

When running spotify the DSBridge icon appears as a red circle and is saying it can't load the lame_enc.dll.

I therefore wondered if there are any issues preventing this all running based on the above info???? Also, is there a specific lame dll I should be looking for.... I downloaded lame 3.99.1 package but couldn't find the dll in there so I simply found the dll elsewhere.

I suppose the first question is whether win7 and flash11 are compatible with this process?

    Any help is much appreciated.

Sees you are using 64 bit Wn 7. Maybe you need the lame 64 bit dll?

You're putting the files in the correct locations. So it can only be a problem with the dll. I'm using lame 3.98. The dll file should be in the zip file.

I think the location changed with latest version of Spotify.

Try the files in both locations + Flash folder.

On my install that folder doesn't exist. What files are in there?

The only dir I can see on mine is C:\Users\Paul\AppData\Roaming\Spotify directory. In there there are 2 folders (gracenote and users) and 4 files (settings, spotify.exe, unitstall.exe and user_cache.bnk)

Plus the 3 files I've copied in to try and get this streaming!

I wonder if there is another directory sitting somewhere....

    In \Program Files\spotify there's only one file: spotify.exe.redir

What version of Spotify do you have?
