Hi,
I just upgraded to 7.6 and now my duet controller won't play flac cue files; in particular those that I have created using Exact Audio Copy.
Anyone else having this problem? Since I have so many of these files I have had to revert to an earlier version of squeezebox server until I can fix the problem.
Also is there any way to stop being prompted to upgrade squeezebox server to the latest version. Now that I am stuck on 7.5.4 for the time being I don't need the incessant prompts.
thanks

Yes, this is a known bug.
In the web interface, go to Settings > Advanced > Software Updates and set it to not check for updates. Also is there any way to stop being prompted to upgrade squeezebox server to the latest version. Now that I am stuck on 7.5.4 for the time being I don't need the incessant prompts.

OK thanks for the reply. Good to know it isn't just my system that is the problem. I will stick with 7.5.X for the time being and have disable automatic updates and notifications for the time being.

Here is a bug report if you want to help out. I expect a version 7.6.1 will be coming out fairly quickly, probably in the couple of weeks.

I've now reverted to 7.5.4 which has fixed the cue sheet problem. But even though I have changed my advanced preferences to stop being prompted to update to 7.6 squeezebox server keeps prompting me every few hours. How can I stop this since I fear that I will upgrade if I press the wrong button?

You may have to restart the server, if you haven't already. Once the server sees the update available, it most likely 'remembers' and keeps prompting you, despite the change in preferences.
