    I'd use JSON/RPC over http on port 9000. It's reliable and simple

    I'm not using Asterix ;-) nor Asterisk. My script is running as a service on my NAS and it works fine without problems.
    It shouldn't matter if it's running on the NAS or the fritz.box.
    The only thing that bugs me, is the display time parameter. For some reason the preset time doesn't match the display time and I haven't figured it out why it doesn't work.

    The latest version is using a reverse number lookup for Germany.

    Thank you both!

    @pippin
    I will to take a look to JSON may be I won't have the problem.

    @doubleugk
    What do you mean with "For some reason the preset time doesn't match the display time and I haven't figured it out why it doesn't work." ?
    Do you mean the time (duration) for displaying the strings or do you mean the incorrect time that the default clock of the Touch shows on the screen?

    I read in another thread that the reason for ignoring the duration is a bug. The uncorrect time I solved with a at bootup started msntp script so all my SB are in sync.

    I took a look in your script and you are using the service on 9090 too. Do you have the same problem that after for example 40 serialized connects on this port the SB is refusing the connection?

    Best regards

    Yes that's what I mean. The bug was fixed, so it should work. It worked before but after changing my code it doesn't. Maybe you have a look at my code?

    Regarding SB connections I don't have a problem.
