Only one artist name is shown on most skins

I mentioned it before, but I put it to the list of bugs:

There is only ONE performer's name shown to any song - even if it is sung by 2 or more people and they are CORRECTLY tagged with the defined separator ...

(which makes additional probs with the "Artist tag mixture-problem", if there is shown only one name either artist or composer)

Yes, it is a bug in Control::Queries.pm.
I have submitted a bug report for it http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=16554

Fixing it only needs replacing e.g. 'AalKNcx' by 'aAlKNcx' in that module.
fetching data from the database is controlled by single character tags. 'A' stands for multiple artists, and 'a' for the primary (and first mentioned) artist. When the tags are given in order Aa, the multiple artist info is overwritten by the single name. In order aA, the single name is overwritten by all artists in the artist, albumartist, tags.

Pls vote for this bug (for whatever it is worth nowadays...)

Does it repeat any names, or does it avoid this?

Better, but not ideal. There's obviously a bug there. The question is whether or not the solution to the bug is as good as it was in versions that were introduced years ago.

It's a desaster to see those many bugs in 7.6 unsolved with features that worked fine till 7.5 and that now are really unusable

Remember that 7.6 is still beta, there is still time to fix them before the oficial release.
The onebrowser work in 7.6 caused a lot of code to be rewritten so it's only natural that there are a few bugs still left, I'd be more worried if Logitech decided to release it without solving all major bugs.

I think that is exactly what it would show. It does the same thing in my system with compilations (I don't use the compilation tag, but set the Album Artist to "Various")
