Aqualung 5.1 - No High Resolution - Yet!

EMI is getting ready to release Steven Wilson's 5.1 mix of Aqualung (likely Sept). Steven has posted elsewhere that the mix will regular dvd (dolby or dts). People have been sending comments about this to EMI via the EMI Canada office because there is a nice Contact Us page on their website. I've had an email from the Director: New Media there and he reports that they are putting together a file and forwarding all the comments (presumably to EMI Head Office). He also said to keep the comments coming. If you want to have any chance of getting a high resolution (dvd-audio) 5.1 mix of Aqualung send your comments to:

Got an update from EMI Canada regarding all the comments that were sent in. The main excerpt is:

"...you've probably reached a saturation point. We've passed on that there is tremendous interest in a modified version of the product, and it's now in their hands."
