duet vs touch connection

I have a duet and radio at home. the radio works perfect. the duet is a piece of garbage with the amount of connection issues I have. will the touch have a better chance of good connection like the radio then the duet or am I just wasting my money on a touch?

To me, the duet always seemed to struggle more with WIFI connections than either my TOUCH or RADIO. Also, if there is an issue, with the DUET you're left with interpreting flashing lights. With a TOUCH, you have a screen that tells you something about what is happening.
