    Squeezeboxserver on 64bit OS?

Just a quick check to ascertaqin whether SBS runs on 64bit Linux - planning on moving to 64 bit Ubuntu to be maximise RAM use as I'm working with some large datasets.
Linux finally gets a great audio tagger: puddletag - now packaged in most Linux distributions.

I'm running Squeezebox server on a 64 bit install of Ubuntu 10.10 without
problems. I used the standard repository:
    deb http://debian.slimdevices.com stable main

Thanks, now the only thing I need to figure out is whether genpuid and musicip server will run on same and I'm good to go.

As others have already stated, SS runs fine under 64 bit Linux. If you are installing Debian, just make sure to install the package ia32-libs - required by the sox edition which comes with the Squeezebox Server.

On the Ubuntu server edition, I believe the package is installed by default.

Great, that's good to know because I run SBS on my desktop also as a testbed for plugins etc.
