Loose / creaking front panel

I have noticed that the left side of my new Touch's front panel creaks when I touch it. The panel seems loose and it gives a bit making a creaking noise. The right side is solid so the difference is noticeable.

I did forum search and it doesn't appear to be a known problem. Will likely just have Amazon swap it.

Has anyone else seen noticed this issue?

I posted a similar thread on the german part of the forum. I had the same problem with a newly purchased touch.

mherger suggested to post a photo, but I decided to send the touch back to Amazon, where I had purchased it. A view weeks later I ordered a new touch, and the new device hasn't got this problem. All parts on the new device are solid and nothing is creeking.

I wouldn't hesitate to swap the device. Otherwise the you will constantly be pressing the loose part, just to check if it's still creaking ;-)

I have done the same as you. Sent the creaker back to Amazon in exchange for a new unit. This one is solid.
