My sister wants me to set up a multi-room sound system with five zones.
She wants controllers mounted next to the light switches in each room.
The Squeezebox Touch looks like a nice unit that would certainly be a nice interface for her but it is not exactly slim and would be difficult to mount neatly on each wall.
Five cheap Android tablets would cost less than five Squeezebox touches. They could run the Squeezebox app and they would mount neatly in the wall.
Is it possible to control multiple zones with the Android app? For instance, if I was in the kitchen and wanted to pipe music to the kitchen and the bedroom, will the app allow me to take over another Android device and make it play music in synch?

Android app instead of Squeezebox Touch?
