Hi everyone,

I continue trying to find an answer to the problem of no artwork. I have a few questions that I hope someone will not mind taking the time to answer.

1) I have just checked the squeezebox website and I note that Radio Time is not showing in my list of apps. I have never downloaded this app, but when I change stations on my SBR, I note that there is a string, for lack of a better word, that reads, in part, radio time... Do I need to install the app?

2) My current firmware is 7.5.3-r9377. Is this the most recent? I do not have a server. I pose the question because the other day when I re-installed the firmware, another version showed, but last night when I tried updating again, the above-listed version was ready to download. The artwork problem remains unsolved.

RadioTime provides the station database and links within the Internet Radio menus. No need to install it, it's all the same stations, but the app gives you some customizing abilities like creating your own custom folders, changing your "local" settings, etc..

I think that most radio stations don't show the album art. I do get album covers on Pandora, Slacker, etc. - just not on most Internet radio stations.
I'm not using the server software and still on FW 7.42 (performs pretty well for me).

Well, I give up. I have tried all sorts of suggestions in my quest to re-enable artwork on my SBR. Nothing has worked. Ah well.

I just tried something last night and it brought back the station graphics. All I did was hit the back button until the radio was 'home' and then did favorites, etc. until I got my station back on and the graphics were there.

I'm new to this radio but I would think that the artwork 'rides' on the same signal as the audio so it's got to be there somewhere.

isr's method is faster than what I did and you've probably tried both. isr's method works for me really well though. Personally I could care less about the graphics anyway as long as the radio works.

Azphil, thanks for the suggestion. Alas, your suggestion did not work for me. I am resigned to not being able to view artwork. But I agree that being able to listen to the stations is what really matters. That said, I sure would like to have the option of looking at artwork versus a radio antenna. I feel on the outside looking in in relation to others who have the benefit that I once enjoyed.

I use the BBC iPlayer plugin *alot* and have noticed that if I navigate through the menus to listen live I get artwork. However, if I assign one of the 6 silver shortcut buttons to the listen live stream then I don't get artwork. Happens with Radios 4, 4 extra & 6 (probably others but untested), Don't know about non-BBC streams. Is this a problem with the radio or the plugin???

I'm having the same problem with missing artwork. It seemed to start a few months ago when I was listening to Coast to Coast AM and squeezbox.com went down. When I switched to a different preset station it was missing artwork.
Been that way since, I believe something was set in the radio that prevents artwork from showing. Although I get artwork when using squeezbox server on my computer. I filed a trouble report with Logitech but I doubt it's being addressed. Their radio support SUCKS BIG TIME.

kloach, my problem started about six weeks ago after I lost my connection with squeezebox.com. Just like you, I muse that something in the settings caused the radio not to show artwork after it rebooted. I have thought about returning the radio to factory settings, but I do not want to go through the trouble if you and others have already tried this possible fix but without success.

I tried restoring the radio to factory settings, it didn't work. You may still want to try it yourself, maybe it will work for you.

I tried the restore too, but no luck. I lost mine around new year's day. Funny thing, album art still works on Pandora, last.fm and mp3tunes.
